Euphorbia Trigona Cactus - African Milk Tree

This unique looking plant may have cactus in its name but it's actually a succulent that's native to West Africa, but can also be found in tropical Asia and India. It has unique spines along its stems and small leaves that cover the edges of the stems and stalk. The plant is also known as an African Milk Tree which is given due to the milky white sap that comes out when it is cut or broken.

The Euphorbia Trigona Cactus is easy to care for, but remember that it will need dusting to unblock its pores, helping it to breathe. They also have a tendency to be top heavy due to their shallow roots so do expect to support the plant with canes where necessary.
